I also painted the chamomiles and drew the colonial man. The publisher liked them so much they decided to incorporate them into the design. About those colonial era romances, oftentimes they were quite short and sweet (sometimes just a matter of decision) so we won't always see a great love story playing out as we do in many historical romances.
